Rosty Mini Player is the official browser extension for Rosty.app, a platform where users create and share manga-synchronized music playlists. This extension receives playlists from Rosty.app and embeds a music player on manga reading sites.

Data Collection

Rosty Mini Player collects minimal data necessary for its functionality:

• Playlist Data: Received from Rosty.app when you explicitly send a playlist (manga name, chapter, SoundCloud URLs, page ranges) - stored locally
• Current Page Number: Detected from manga reader websites to synchronize music playback
• User Preferences: Reading mode, player position, and detection settings - stored locally

Data Storage

All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. No data is transmitted to external servers except:

• Receiving playlist data from rosty.app when explicitly sent by the user via the "Send to Extension" feature
• Loading SoundCloud tracks via their official embedded player (https://w.soundcloud.com/player/)

Third-Party Services

• Rosty.app: Provides the playlist data when you choose to send a playlist to the extension
• SoundCloud: The extension uses SoundCloud's official embedded player to play music. SoundCloud's privacy policy applies: https://soundcloud.com/pages/privacy

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. No personal information is collected or shared.

User Control

You have full control over:

• Which playlists you send from Rosty.app to the extension
• When to enable/disable the player
